AAA Names Minnesota “Top Shop” Auto Repair Facilities | Transportation
Each year recognizes a select number of Approved Auto Repair (AAR) facilities for their business integrity, professional standards in automotive repair and outstanding customer service. In Minnesota, 24 Approved Auto Repair shops have earned the Top Shop honor for 2010. The 13th annual Top Shop awards are given to those repair facilities that last year met the online customer satisfaction survey requirements. The evaluations are monitored and processed by AAA. Top Shop recipients are also Total Repair Care facilities that offer the 5% SYC&S Discount to Members. AAA requires these facilities to demonstrate their highest level of commitment to their customers by having staff certified in the following Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) categories: Master A1-A8, Advanced Engine Performance L-1, Certified Service Advisor C-1. Currently in Minnesota, there are 145 mechanical repair facilities made up of auto dealers and independently owned businesses, who participate in AAA’s Approved Auto Repair program. To qualify, a repair facility must meet AAA's strict criteria for technician certification and customer satisfaction.
